As we celebrate the 28-year anniversary of the Springboks’ fairytale Rugby World Cup win in 1995, watch as the team passionately sings national anthem with Nelson Mandela before kick off.

On 24 June 1995, flyhalf Joel Stransky nailed a drop goal to inspire the Boks to a fairytale three-point win over the All Blacks at Ellis Park resulting in South Africa claiming its maiden Rugby World Cup title at the first attempt.
