Check out this epic compilation of the Springboks’ best moments on their way to a record back-to-back Rugby World Cup triumph in France almost two weeks ago.

The Springboks won three of their four pool games (they lost against Ireland), but went on to miraculously clinch three straight one-point wins in the playoffs — against France, England and the All Blacks — to be crowned world champions for a record-breaking fourth time and for a second consecutive time under the inspirational Siya Kolisi.

Local sports broadcaster SuperSport has now produced a stunning one minute and 50 seconds highlights package video, which takes viewers on a journey to relive all the best bits that Springbok rugby offered up during the World Cup in France.

After their remarkable Rugby World Cup victory, the Springboks have said goodbye to head coach Jacques Nienaber and veteran No 8 Duane Vermeulen.

Nienaber leaves the Springboks to take up a coaching role at Irish club Leinster, while Vermeulen announced his retirement from international rugby after 11 years of service to the Springboks and SA Rugby.

It has already been confirmed that Rassie Erasmus will temporarily take over the head coaching reins from his long-time ally Nienaber.

And in Vermeulen’s case, there’s no shortage of No 8s coming through the South African rugby production line to plug the gap he has left in the team. Although, Jasper Wiese is in the inside lane to permanently take over that No 8 shirt as he is already in the Springboks’ set-up as a current Test player.
