CONFIRMED: When Springbok documentary ‘Chasing the Sun 2’ will hit screens
The release date for Chasing The Sun 2, a sports documentary series detailing the Springboks’ 2023 Rugby World Cup journey, has been confirmed.

The original Chasing The Sun is compelling, raw, human and emotional five-part documentary series which tells the story of the Springboks and their journey to the pinnacle of international rugby, the Rugby World Cup in 2019.
On Monday, SuperSport in tandem with SA Rugby announced that a sequel of the documentary — which tells the story of the Springboks’ 2023 Rugby World Cup triumph in France — will be aired in March 2024.
With the announcement, they also released a video snippet from Chasing the Sun 2, giving viewers a glimpse of what to expect from the sequel.
Chasing The Sun 2 will tell the tale of how the Springboks went on to clinch the Webb Ellis Cup for a record-breaking fourth time in history, making them just the second Test team ever to win back-to-back titles.
