Springboks vs Scotland preview: South Africa have faced their northern rivals 28 times ahead of their Rugby World Cup meeting on Sunday.

What time does Springboks vs Scotland kick-off

The Pool B clash Springboks vs Scotland kicks off at 17:45 on Sunday 10 September 2023.

It will be the third time that the Springboks have faced Scotland at the Rugby World Cup.

The match will take place at the Orange Velodrome in Marseille where the Springboks beat Fiji in the 2007 Rugby World Cup quarter-finals.

The first of those meetings came in 1999 at Murrayfield with the Springboks running in six tries in a 46-29 win that was one of the most entertaining pool matches at the tournament.

In 2015 the Springboks secured a vital victory over Scotland to assume top spot in their pool despite a shock loss to Japan in their opener.
