Fijian centre Josua Tuisova was told hours before a Rugby World Cup pool match against Georgia that his seven-year-old son died.
Tuisova’s son passed away from a long-term illness, Planet Rugby reported. Fiji beat the European nation 17-12 win in Bordeaux.
FIJIAN RUGBY WORLD CUP STAR TO MISS SON’S FUNERAL
Tuisova’s father, Isikeli Ratulevu, confirmed that his son would remain in France and be available for the Pacific Islander’s crunch pool match against Portugal on Sunday, 8 November according to The Guardian.
