That means Erasmus and head coach Jacques Nienaber have a full complement of 33 players to choose from when they select their 23-man squad for Saturday, 21 October’s semi-final against England.

Kick-off at the Stade de France in Paris is at 21:00 (SA time).

Rassie Erasmus was pleased with the way the Springboks had managed to balance the training and playing load of the players.

“We’ve spread the load with player minutes. We know this is definitely going to be a close match, but we are in a fortunate situation in that all 33 players are not showing injuries and should be available for selection,” he said.

The Springboks returned to the training field on Tuesday after having had Monday off to recover and move hotels in Paris.
