Mark your calendar: Date, time confirmed for Springboks RWC squad reveal

It’s been confirmed exactly when the public will be informed of the Springboks’ 33-man squad selected for this year’s World Cup.

The Springboks’ preparations for the 2023 World Cup are well underway, and they have already got their Test season off to a perfect start after claiming a resounding win over Australia last weekend.

It’s now been confirmed that the final squad will be announced on Tuesday, 8 August at a special event taking place from 2-4pm.

It effectively means that the shortened single-round Rugby Championship will serve as the final opportunity for players to cement their place in the squad.

With less than 60 days to go until the World Cup, we have put on our selectors hat and attempted to make an early prediction of what the squad could look like.
