The Springboks lead the way in the standings after the opening round of the 2023 Rugby Championship.

The Springboks beat Australia 43-12 in Pretoria on Saturday, while the All Blacks proved too strong for Argentina in their opener, winning 41-12 in Mendoza.

Both wins were good enough for bonus points while both losers left empty handed.

In next weekend’s Round 2 matches, the Springboks will face the All Blacks in a potential Rugby Championship decider in Auckland on Saturday, 15 July.

The Test will take place at the little-known Mount Smart Stadium at 09:05 (SA time).

Australia will host Argentina in Parramatta at 11:30 (SA time).

The Springboks side to face the All Blacks will be announced at 09:00 (SA time) on Tuesday, 11 July.
