The British & Irish Lions faced what will (hopefully) be their weakest opposition on their eight-match tour of South Africa when they took on the Lions at Ellis Park.

The British & Irish Lions faced what will (hopefully) be their weakest opposition on their eight-match tour of South Africa when they took on the Lions at Ellis Park in Johannesburg on Saturday.

After leading 21-7 at half-time, the British & Irish Lions ran out easy 56-14 winners with Welsh wing Josh Adams helping himself to four tries.
It was a positive first outing on South African soil for Warren Gatland’s men who will next play the Sharks – also at Ellis Park – on Wednesday, 7 July.
Kick-off is at 19:00 SA time.
