Fortunately, the replica of the Webb Ellis trophy that the South African national rugby team won in Paris, France after beating New Zealand in the Rugby World Cup final match on 28 October was safely kept away in an office that was not broken into, IOL reported.

After returning to the country as champions two weeks ago, the Springboks toured South Africa and were spotted with the shiny gold trophy in Gauteng, Western Cape, KwaZulu-Natal, and the Eastern Cape. Thereafter, the team’s captain Siya Kolisi is said to have placed the trophy in a cabinet at SARU House, where it will stay, the publication added.
