Fiji have it all to play for when they square off against Georgia at the 2019 Rugby World Cup on Thursday.

Provided Pool D leaders Wales and Australia avoid any dramatic upsets at the hands of their Tier 2 opponents, Thursday’s clash between Georgia and Fiji will likely decide third place in the group and, with it, the all-important automatic qualification berth for RWC 2023.
Fiji, wounded after two opening defeats but buoyed by the bonus points they claimed along the way, can go past Georgia with a win.
They will be boosted by the return of influential loose forward Peceli Yato.
Yato was concussed in Fiji’s opening game after a high tackle by Australia’s Reece Hodge – who later became the first player to receive a suspension at the tournament.
Fiji, who were leading at the time of Hodge’s try-stopping tackle, lost 39-21 to Australia before suffering an embarrassing upset against minnows Uruguay.
Yato scored a try and made 81 metres in his 26 minutes on the field, gaining more ground than any other player apart from Australia wing Marika Koroibete.
Coach John McKee made 11 changes to the team that slumped 30-27 to Uruguay as Fiji seek to climb off the bottom of Pool D with victory in Osaka on Thursday.
Following heavy squad rotation in their opening two matches, Georgia’s coaching staff have opted for their most-seasoned starting XV yet in Japan in terms of World Cup experience.

Georgia vs Fiji: Rugby World Cup kick-off time and prediction
Kick off time: It’s a bright eyed and bushy tailed affair. Kick off is at 7:15 SAST on 3 October 2019. All the action is live on SuperSport 1.
For the RWC, we’ll be using a prediction algorithm from a New Zealand anorak.
Prediction: It’s a fairly tight call, but Fiji are tipped to take it… just. The algorithm says eight points in favour of the islanders.
