Sunday rolls in with a new name at the summit of the log after the weekend’s PSL results ensured that there was some shuffling of the pack.
Bidvest Wits – who went into the weekend as log leaders – dropped points on Friday night, letting Orlando Pirates in at the top of the standings.
However, the weekend’s action is not over, and a whole new outfit could find itself at the very top by Sunday evening.
Sunday’s PSL fixtures see Supersport United taking on the newly-promoted Black Leopards at Lucas Moripe Stadium.
The fixture serves as Kaitano Tembo’s last chance to test out his combinations ahead to the big MTN8 final against Cape Town City next weekend.
Matsatsantsa will also be looking to bounce back from the defeat they suffered at the hands of Orlando Pirates last time out when they conceded two late goals to lose 3-1 at Orlando Stadium.
Their opponents also come off a defeat after losing to Bloemfontein Celtic at home in their last outing.
