Orlando Pirates defender unfazed by Chiefs’ youngster’s threat

Nigeria and Orlando Pirates defender Olisa Ndah remains unfazed by Kaizer Chiefs youngster Wandile Duma’s threats.

The Pirates defender, Ndah decides to just laugh off Duma’s warning that he is coming to haunt them in the Soweto Derby.

The threat comes after Duma scored for Chiefs in their midweek match against Golden Arrows on Tuesday.

In his post-match, the 19-year-old Amakhosi youngster said he was coming for Pirates who seemingly forgot about him.

However, the lanky defender says Pirates are ready and are unfazed by the youngster’s threat.

PIRATES DEFENDER UNFAZED BY CHIEFS’ YOUNGSTER’S THREAT

The dreadlocked Pirates defender says the youngster is just excited after scoring for Chiefs on Tuesday.

“No, I don’t think it’s a challenge, they just scored a goal,” Pirates defender Ndah told the journalists.

“I’m not worried about what the little guy said, I think he is more excited.

“So I’m just looking forward to the next game on Saturday, we just have to deliver.”

PIRATES DEFENDER: WE ARE ALSO EXCITED ABOUT THE DERBY

The cool and calm Pirates defender says just like the Chiefs youngster, they also share the same excitement.

He adds that Pirates want to deliver a win to their fans despite the frustrating draw on Wednesday.

“I think because the Derby motivates them like it does to us,” adds the 26-year-old Pirates defender.

“No matter what, no matter how bad we’re playing.

“It’s a Derby where everyone is at its best and everyone wants to deliver.

“So I think it’s more like on the occasion because they know how important it is.

“So they become more difficult to play.”
