Idiski Times has it that Amakhosi, as Chiefs are known, have captured the South American star and he will be unveiled by the club just before the start of the new season.

As per the media report, Castillo attracted Chiefs’ interest in the January transfer window following the departure of midfielder Njabulo Blom to the Major League Soccer.

Despite the interest in the Venezuelan, coach Arthur Zwane’s side decided not to pursue the player after becoming a free agent.

In a twist of events, Chiefs reignited their interest in the 29-year-old midfielder who had become a free agent after Caracas and he returned to his former club Monagas on a short-term deal.
