Bafana Bafana and St. Louis City midfielder Njabulo Blom is unfazed after not getting a call-up to the national team by coach Hugo Broos.
Blom is another notable absentee in the Bafana squad announced by Broos this week, and the United States-based midfielder says he will now look to improve his game.

This comes as the Belgian manager, Broos, decided also to snub Kaizer Chiefs players as he said none of the Amakhosi players are good enough for Bafana.
BLOM UNFAZED AFTER BAFANA SNUB BY COACH BROOS
In a chat with Metro FM’s Andile Ncube, the former Chiefs star is not bitter but disappointed as he wants to keep working hard.

Furthermore, Blom has been one of the outstanding performers of his club in the Major League Soccer.
Broos will lead the former African champions in two friendlies against Namibia and DR Congo this month.

“We have so much quality back home, to be honest, and everyone that is in the national team deserves to be in the national team,” Blom said.
“The competition is there, and it’s very healthy. Obviously, I look at this like I had to improve certain things as a player, I have to work on myself also, but to be quite honest, the guys that are there deserve to be there they doing well. They are quality players.”

The industrious midfielder added that he is no exception when it comes to dreams of donning the Bafana jersey.

The 23-year-old former Amakhosi darling has featured in 20 matches for his club this term.
Based on his contribution to the club coached by former Bafana international Bradley Carnell, Blom has been a key figure as they top the table in the Western Conference.
“Obviously I’m disappointed. Everyone wants to play for the national team, but also when you look at the quality that is there, you can’t do anything as a player,’ he added.

“I don’t know about that, but after the injury, I’ve been playing games. It was our last cup game where I didn’t play because I had a groin injury and then I played against Austin which was our first game after the break and then I didn’t play our last game against Orlando because I was suspended.”
