Seven-time Formula One world champion Michael Schumacher turned 52 on Sunday.

The only other seven-time F1 winner, Lewis Hamilton, took to social media to wish Schumacher a Happy Birthday.

Hamilton added that he was “thinking of Schuamcher”.

Schumacher’s titles came in 1994 and 1995 and then 2000-2004.

On 29 December 2013, Michael Schumacher was skiing with his then-14-year-old son Mick in the French Alps. While crossing an unsecured off-piste area he fell and hit his head on a rock sustaining a serious head injury.

Very little in terms of updates as to his condition over the past seven years has been revealed.

Hamilton will look to land a record-breaking eighth title in 2021 for Mercedes.
