South Africans can be a bit shameless in teaching foreigners to swear in our language. Sometimes we do it to our visiting friends, other times our sports people do it when they have a bit of a rough time.
Like when Ernie Els said “doos” at the golf and the poor commentator innocently asked: “what’s a doos”? Don’t remember that? Let’s refresh your memory…
Lulz! Anway, onto the Sevens this weekend. The Blitzboks clinched the World Series Sevens title with one tournament still to go. They’ve had a few blips here and there this season, but overall, the Blitzboks have been excellent and have now made up for the disappointment in Rio last year.
But fans at the stadium had ideas of their own… across the weekend, a gentleman was spotted with a hashtag and beamed on the visuals around the world at least twice.
