When do the Proteas play first T20 World Cup game?

A powerful Proteas side will soon go in search of an elusive ICC world title. Here all their fixtures to note at the upcoming T20 World Cup.

The Proteas are soon set to jet off for the T20 World Cup to be played in the USA and West Indies from 1-29 June.

As always, a great sense of expectation and anticipation will follow the team’s every move as long-suffering fans hope to see the Proteas finally break their ICC trophy curse.

Aiden Markram will lead the side in what will be his first World Cup assignment since being named T20 International (T20I) captain, with the squad for the tournament having been unveiled last month.

As the countdown to the highly anticipated tournament begins, here are the key fixtures to mark down in the calendar.
