The Bulls are set to face the Waratahs at Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria this weekend, for another exciting Super Rugby clash.

Bulls team and injury news

The Vodacom Bulls’ trip to Newlands where they lost 24-23 to a determined Stormers outfit proved to take a hard knock on the team as they will be without the services of Divan Rossouw, Jade Stighling and Jesse Kriel.

Wings Rossouw and Stighling left the field with concussion while outside centre Kriel sustained an ankle injury which required surgery. He will be available in 6-8 weeks.

Waratahs team and injury news

Head Coach Daryl Gibson has named his side that will take on the Bulls on Saturday.

The Waratahs landed earlier in the week and the Gibson said they have adjusted to the altitude well.

“The more we come to South Africa, there more it becomes normal. There is still that initial bursting in the lungs in the first five minutes… but once the players get over that and they settle down it’s not such as bad thing,” he said.

Aussie teams have had notched up some good performances against the South African teams this season and Gibson is hopeful the Waratahs can do the same.
