Spend an evening with Jacques Kallis at Lord’s

Widely considered to be one of the greatest cricketers the game has ever seen, Kallis will be joined by teammates and opponents from a glittering career that saw him score over 25,000 runs and take 577 wickets across all formats.

Taking place on the eve of the England vs South Africa test match in London, special guests already include former England captain Andrew Strauss and batsman, Allan Lamb.

The evening will be raising money for the Lord’s Taverners, the UK’s leading youth cricket and disability sports charity and the Jacques Kallis Foundation, which gives youngsters from disadvantaged backgrounds the opportunity to attend cricket schools.

The Lord’s Taverners help young people of all abilities and backgrounds participate in sporting activities across all its charitable programmes, including disability cricket, community cricket, specially adapted minibuses, wheelchair sports, disability play spaces, sensory rooms and more.

In 2016, the charity created more than 1 million sporting chances for disadvantaged and disabled young people in their communities and in turn, these will create millions more in the years to come. The charity delivered more than 2,000 disability cricket sessions in the last 12 months and our community programmes saw 45,000 boys and girls get the chance to enjoy cricket.
