The R33m PowerBall winner is somewhere in Johannesburg: Check those tickets
This latest win comes after four jackpot winners of the PowerBall game were paid out R214 million collectively since January 2023.

The lucky winner of the near-R34 million PowerBall jackpot that was struck on Tuesday, 11 April, is somewhere in Johannesburg, the national lottery operator Ithuba revealed on Thursday.
POWERBALL TICKET PURCASED AT ALBERTON SPAR
The winning ticket was purchased at a Spar in Alberton, Johannesburg, Gauteng, according to Ithuba.
The lottery operator encouraged players to check their tickets. Tuesday’s jackpot was worth a staggering R33 670 044.67.
“PowerBall has seen monumental wins since January 2023, the PowerBall game has had four jackpot winners who collectively, have been paid out an enormous R214 373 373.14 million.
“The highest PowerBall jackpot that was paid out earlier this year, was R75 million and was won on 14 March 2023 by an unemployed Johannesburg woman,” said Ithuba.
“We are looking forward to welcoming the latest winner. The winner will be taken through our winner service experience which includes financial advice from an independent financial advisor, as well a psychologist for trauma counseling,” added Ithuba CEO Charmaine Mabuza.
