Wynberg Mosque Shooting: Could this be gang related? One man was killed. Police say they’re on the hunt for multiple suspects.
The streets of Wynberg in Cape Town were rattled yesterday, after a shooting just outside a local mosque left one dead and two others injured. Three men came under fire while parked outside the mosque. Some community reports suggest that the shooting could be gang-related.

Western Cape police say that a 29-year-old man was killed. While the two other victims were rushed to hospital.
The shooting took place outside the Park Road mosque, on the corner of Batts and Mars roads.
In video of the incident, two men can be seen with gunshot wounds. A car with several bullet holes can be seen in the road outside the mosque.
At least three suspects fled on foot. And charges of murder and attempted murder are now being investigated.
Police are urging anyone with information to come forward.
