While their contributions to the sport are undeniable, a burning question remains: who currently holds the title of the highest-paid Springbok player?

The highest-paid South African rugby player to date is Handre Pollard, whose salary is over a million Rand monthly, estimated at R2 589 713,73 monthly.

BUT HOW MUCH IS THE BONUSES THAT THE SPRINGBOKS WILL EARN AFTER THEIR VICTORY?

According to a report by Business Live SA Rugby president Mark Alexander said at the team’s arrival at OR Tambo International Airport on Tuesday that World Rugby does not give prize money for winning the tournament, but the players will get win bonuses.

SEVERAL INTERNATIONAL WEBSITES SAID THEY WILL RECEIVE R93 MILLION

Contradicting Alexander’s view, several international websites have reported the champions will receive £5m (R93m).
