Zimbabwe’s ruling party, Zanu-PF dirty tactics were exposed on election day.
Zimbabweans are all motivated to choose their new government,t but the ground seemed tense.

The history of Zimbabwean elections is not clean with intimidation and bringing being the talk.
The 2008 elections epitomized the intimidation that resulted in the deaths of many people.
In 2018, the issue ended at the constitutional court with a ruling that the opposition did not accept.

All this had been the case in Zimbabweans elections, but the world had been hopeful for 2023.
Unfortunately, illegal and intimidation tactics are already happening outside the polling station.
ZANU-PF’S DIRTY TACTICS EXPOSED ON ELECTION DAY
Famous journalist Hopewell Chin’ono shared videos on his Instagram showing the illegal activities.
He wrote a letter to election observers telling them about the unfair practices already taking place.

“Dear Election Observers, The ruling party in Zimbabwe, ZANUPF has set up tables outside polling stations within 300 meters of those polling stations, and they are taking people’s ID numbers and names. This is an intimidation tactic, part of rigging mechanics. This is illegal but the Zimbabwe Election Commission is not enforcing the law.” he wrote.
These intimidation tactics came after the news that most polling stations had no ballot papers.
Most people have since returned home after getting such news, and some believe it was a way of frustrating voters.
ZIMBABWEANS ARE NOT HAPPY WITH THE ELECTIONS SO FAR
Many people were furious after Hopewell Chin’ono shared the videos of Zanu-PF’s dirty tactics.
