Zimbabwe’s main opposition Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) supporter was stoned to death by ruling party Zanu-PF supporters.
It’s almost election time in Zimbabwe, and the atmosphere is heating up.

Zimbabwe’s elections are well known for violence and unjust practices that have led many people to discredit them.
It’s been the hope of everyone interested in Zimbabwe that the 23 August 2023 general elections will be free, fair and credible.

Unfortunately, the signs are not convincing, and the violence has already started.
In the high-density suburb of Harare, Glen View, an opposition supporter was stoned to death by Zanu-PF supporters.
ZIMBABWE’S MAIN OPPOSITION SUPPORTER STONED TO DEATH BY ZANU-PF SUPPORTERS
Famous journalist Hopewell Chin’ono reported the sad news on his Instagram handle.
He said that the harmless opposition supporters were going for their rally/meeting when they got attacked by Zanu-PF supporters.

“A supporter of Zimbabwe’s main opposition political party, CCC, has been stoned to death today in the township of Glen View in Zimbabwe’s capital city, Harare,” reported Hopewell.
“Tinashe Chitsunge was killed after ruling party ZANU-PF supporters attacked CCC supporters who were going to a rally in the working class neighbourhood,” he said.
“The ruling party thugs were captured on camera throwing stones at a truck with opposition supporters.” he finished.
ZIMBABWEANS ARE CRYING
After Hopewell shared the news of the opposition supporter stoned to death by ruling party Zanu-PF supporters, many were left in tears.
“Gaya killing another human being for a bunch of human beings who wouldn’t even pour water on you if you were on fire. There wouldn’t even be the necessary infrastructure to deal with your burns. May you rest in eternal peace young man.”
