A heartbroken young boy tells his mother he doesn’t want to stay in South Africa anymore because AKA was shot with a gun.

“I don’t want to live here anymore because Aka was shot with a gun,” the heartbroken boy tells his mother while sobbing sadly.

The boy could hardly speak as he sobbed. One can see from the video that his heart is broken into pieces by the news of AKA’s sudden death.
He told his mother he wanted to go live in Europe, and she said to him that you needed money to go to Europe.

“People get shot everywhere, and people die everywhere,” his mother told him.
He said maybe there is a cute place in Europe. The boy could not stop crying as he was talking to his mother.

South Africa anymore because AKA was shot with a gun.
His mother then tells him to pray, and she says “askies” before he moves into what is believed to hug her, but then the TikTok stops.
Rapper Kiernan ‘AKA’ Forbes and his friend Tebello ‘Tibz’ Motsoane were shot and killed in Florida Road, Durban, on Friday night, 10 February. CCTV footage of the incident emerged on Saturday and has been widely shared on social media.

AKA and Motsoane were declared dead at the scene. The motive for the shooting is unknown at this stage.
KwaZulu-Natal Police Commissioner, Lt-Gen Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi, said detectives are tracing the killers’ movements backward to identify them.
On Tuesday this week, the family announced that they would have a memorial service on Friday, 17 February. The memorial service is open to the public and will also be live-streamed.
In a press release, they also shared that the funeral will be private on Saturday, 18 February 2023.
