eThekwini municipality short on month’s cash to render basic services
Reports coming out of Kwazulu-Natal say the eThekwini Municipality’s cash on hand to render basic services has dramatically declined. The cash could only last 27 days excluding cash on reserves.
According to the city’s chief financial officer Krish Kumar, the situation was dire not only within the eThekwini Metro but across all sectors.
