Fikile Mbalula thanked South Africa for their support during his tenure as the Minister of Transport.

President Cyril Ramaphosa announced the changes to his cabinet on Monday night, 6 March. Mbalula was appointed as the Secretary-General.

Sindisiwe Chikunga is the newly appointed Minister of Transport.

Mbalula shared a video on Twitter consisting of some captured moments from his terms as Minister of Transport.

“Thank you, South Africa,” Mbalula captured the video.

  • Deputy President- Paul Mashatile
  • Minister in the Presidency, Ms Khumbudzo Ntshavheni,

Ramaphosa said that he expects all incoming Ministers to fulfill their tasks with rigour and dedication, to adopt a zero-tolerance approach to corruption wherever it exists, and to place the interests of the people of South Africa foremost in the work that they do.

He thanked all outgoing Ministers and Deputy Ministers for their service to this administration and the country.
