The SA Weather Service issued a level 2 WARNING for disruptive SNOW now in several parts of South Africa. Here are the affected areas.
WARNING issued for disruptive SNOW now in these parts of SA Photos:Stock/Camva
A level 2 warning for DISRUPTIVE SNOW was issued for several parts of South Africa on Wednesday afternoon.
According to the South African Weather Service (SAWS), the level 2 warning is in place from 12:00 on Wednesday afternoon up until Thursday midnight.

“The snow is expected to result in dangerous driving conditions, potential road and pass closures, isolated loss of vulnerable livestock, localised disruption to services.”

It furthermore urged small-stock farmers to shelter animals.
“Dress warmly and avoid high mountain passes if possible. Exercise caution when on the roads, as they may be icy and dangerous. Make contact with your closest disaster manager or community leader and keep listening to the radio for updates.”
