The United Independant Movement (UIM) are taking President Cyril Ramaphosa, the energy utility Eskom, the National Energy Regulator of South Africa (NERSA) and the Minister of Energy Gwede Manthase to the Constitutional Court.

THE POOR HAS NO FIGHT AGAINST ESKOM CIRCUS

UIM President Neil De Beer said, this decision is taken because we, as a country, the poorest of the poor, cannot longer get electricity.

“The rich will get richer and buy more generators and the poor people in this country has no fight against the circus and rubbish at Eskom.

UIM TAKES ESKOM AND NERSA TO COURT

De Beer made this announcement on Friday morning, 13 January 2023.

He called on all South Africans to join this fight against, Ramaphosa, Eskom, Nersa and Mantashe and stand with the party.

“If they are willing to assassinate the CEO according to rumours, what is there? What is so bad is that they are eager to hide allegedly.

It is time the country we get up and take back out the country,” de Beer said.

WE ARE FED-UP WITH CYRIL RAMAPHOSA

De Beer said for too long now, we have had excuses, debated prayer, and hope that we will not have load shedding.

“We are fed-up with meetings and discussion, and we are fed-up with Cyril Ramaphosa.

“We will take you to court and make you deliver your obligation; to supply power to this country and its people.”

De Beer said Eskom has a state monopoly on supplying electricity, but they cannot do it.

“It is time we take this group and this kabaal to justice. We are ready to go to court.

RAMAPHOSA, ESKOM AND NERSA IS ACCOUNTABLE

He added that the UIM is ready to keep the president, Eskom, and Nersa accountable.

“We declare that we will not sit on our hands and let the country collapse under crime and the total economic collapse. We, the people, will keep you accountable.

“I don’t care how many death threats you give me or how you threaten my life.

De Beer said they will soon file papers against Ramaphosa, Eskom, Nersa and the minister of energy in court.

He said no other political party, in his opinion, wants to take this fight on because it is dangerous, but I am not scared,” De Beer said.
