Keen to grab a bargain flight to Perth in Western Australia? You can now fly direct for just over R 12 000 return!

Trips to Perth have been quite inconvenient and expensive over the last couple of years – in the absence of direct flight services.

If you are looking to travel to Perth, you can fly direct with SAA’s bargain introductory airfares.

BARGAIN FLIGHTS

South African Airways has announced the resumption of flights to Perth, starting on 28 April.

The convenient direct flights will be popular for travellers living on both sides of the Indian Ocean.

Return flights can currently be found for just over R 12 000 per adult for Fare Saver tickets. This fare includes checked baggage, cabin baggage, inflight catering and Voyager miles.

SAA has already opened up bookings for this route.

SAA ROUTE RELAUNCH

The reintroduced flights between Johannesburg and Perth will start up in April this year after a 4-year hiatus.

These direct flights are popular for South Africans and Australians alike as they will make the travel time between the two cities much shorter.

PERTH FLIGHTS

Currently, the journey between Johannesburg and Perth is lengthy due to the absence of direct flights.

Travellers on the route have been connecting through other destinations such as Mauritius, Sydney or Singapore.

SA EXPAT COMMUNITIES

Perth is a favoured destination for SA ex-pats.

Its closer location to South Africa, compared to cities on Australia’s East Coast, makes Perth a favourable choice for many SA migrants.

Known for a slightly lower cost of living compared to cities like Melbourne and Sydney, Perth is often considered a preferred destination by SA expats.
