TRAGIC! Six-year-old found dead in the trunk of family car
A couple from the East Rand was devastated after their six-year-old son was found dead in the boot of their parked Volkswagen Jetta on their small holding in the area of Springs.
According to reports, it is not clear how little Enrico Snyders ended up in the trunk.

A long-time family friend who acts as a family spokesperson said it seems like it was a tragic freak accident.

South African television presenter Derek Watts, best known for his role on Carte Blanche, has posted a photo of himself on social media in a hospital bed in Johannesburg.

Watts, who has been part of the Carte Blanche family since inception in 1988, confirmed that he had collapsed two weeks ago from a suspected stroke.
He was subsequently diagnosed with “severe sepsis”.
Journalist Jeremy Gordin killed in JHB home invasion
Retired journalist Jeremy Gordin was killed on Friday night at his home in Parkview, Johannesburg, in what was reportedly said to be a “robbery gone wrong.”
According to reports, Gordin’s family was in Cape Town and grew concerned when Gordin was unresponsive to messages on Friday night.
It is believed a friend gained access to Gordin’s home – which had been locked from the outside – and found it had been ransacked and his body had been covered.

A video of a man catching bullets with his MOUTH has gone viral.
In the video, the man is seen firing a rifle and handgun either near or into his mouth. Seconds later, he spits out the shells of the bullets.
This video sent social media into a frenzy, with many saying it looks like a prop gun and while others said it is fake as the shell casting does not come out at the front of the guns as in the video.
REMINDER: Eskom tariff hike comes into effect in April
Consumers (both businesses and home owners) will now have to dig deeper into their pockets when they pay for electricity as the 18,65% Eskom tariff hike came into effect on 1 April.
The hike was approved by the National Energy Regulator of South Africa (NERSA) in January 2023.
