The weather services warned that SNOW, icy cold, and rainy weather are expected in these parts of SA until Wednesday.

An Orange Level 6 warning for disruptive snow was issued for the Eastern Cape. This will also affect parts of KZN.

SNOW, icy cold and rainy weather expected in these parts of SA from TODAY

SNOW, icy cold, and rainy weather are expected in these parts of South Africa from TODAY.

According to VoxWeather forecaster Annette Botha a strong cold front is heading to South Africa.

“Stong front is expected to slam the Western Cape on Friday with strong with near gale force wind, winds also picking up into. Winds of up to 80km/h are expected.”

Warning: Disruptive snow expected in THESE parts of KZN TODAY

The South African Weather Service (SAWS) has issued a Yellow Level 2 warning for disruptive snow set to affect parts of KZN.

The initial warning was issued for the Eastern Cape but weather service said the snow could also affect parts of KZN and lead to dangerous driving conditions, some pass closures and isolated loss of vulnerable livestock.

These are the affected areas:

Western parts of uThukela
uMgungundlovu
Harry Gwala District

Get ready! The COLDEST night so far in 2023 is expected TONIGHT in Gauteng.

Due to the strong cold front, sub-freezing temperatures for central Pretoria and Johannesburg are expected.

The South African Weather Service (SAWS) said the much-anticipated cold front had made landfall over the western parts of South Africa.

Load shedding for WEEK – Here is the latest schedule

Eskom said load shedding will be implemented this WEEK. Here is your updated schedule.

The power utility said due to consistent available generation capacity, load shedding will continue to be suspended from midnight until 16:00, and Stage 3 load shedding will remain in force from 16:00 today until midnight.

Serial killer, Rosemary Ndlovu caught with a cellphone in jail and charged

The Department of Correctional Services (DCS) has confirmed that it has charged convicted cop turned serial killer Rosemary Ndlovu after she was found with a cellphone.

Ndlovu was thrust in the spotlight after she was arrested for killing her family members so she can cash in on insurance. She cashed in R1.4 million from life insurance policies she had taken out on six people. These include her boyfriend (Yingwani Maurice Mabasa), sister (Aubrey Somisa Ndlovu), cousin (Witness Madala Homu), niece (Zanele Motha) and two nephews (Brilliant Mashego and Mayeni Mashaba).
