You can judge a person by the company he keeps, and Jacob Zuma’s latest acquaintance certainly comes with some baggage. Last weekend, the former president was pictured with Louis Liebenberg – leaving us with lots to unpack.

In other news, President Cyril Ramaphosa and a few ministers have had charges of culpable homicide opened against them for the KZN floods.

And in what promises to be an enormous boost for Cape Town and its tourist-driven economy, the Mother City’s international airport will now operate a triangular flight route between itself, Johannesburg and Atlanta – in the US state of Georgia. Delta Airlines, one of the biggest in the business, will provide the service.

The last thing we need right now is Stage 6 load shedding – but nothing stops Eskom from letting SA down with alarming regularity.

Good news! The man who attacked retired British lodge owner, Christine Robinson at Rra-Ditau lodge in Limpopo was found guilty of rape and murder.
