HAIL storms expected TOMORROW in these parts of SA

HAIL storms are expected in these parts of South Africa TOMORROW. 

The SA Weather Services (SAWS) issued a level 2 warning for severe thunderstorms and hail until Monday afternoon.

Clanwilliam dam rejuvenated

The reinvigoration of the Clanwilliam Dam engineering project has kindled a sense of hope and optimism within the communities of the West Coast corridor.

Water and Sanitation Minister Senzo Mchunu recently conducted an oversight visit to the construction site of the dam. It is situated near the town of Clanwilliam in the Cederberg Local Municipality. This ambitious R4 billion undertaking represents one of the largest government infrastructure investments in the Western Cape.

SASSA REMINDER: Child Grant payment TOMORROW

The South African Social Security Agency(SASSA) has released the full payment schedule of this month and beneficiaries of a child grant can expect to receive their money tomorrow.

Grant beneficiaries can withdraw their money at supermarket retailers such as Checkers, Spar, Shoprite, USave, Boxer and Pick ‘n Pay.

These SIX popular Durban BEACHES are CLOSED

Recent water quality tests to Durban’s Beaches has caused for the closure of six beaches including Thekwini Beach.

The testing comes just as all of the metro’s beaches were cleared for bathing after being closed for almost two weeks.
