The fifty-two-year-old Warrant Officer Michael Jameson was picking up his daughter from a school in Umbilo when he noticed a hijacking in progress. He intervened and was shot dead.
Mojalesa Mofokeng was sentenced to eight years of direct imprisonment for bestiality after raping his neighbour’s 11-month-old dog, Moana, in November 2020.
According to the National Council of SPCAs (NSPCA), Mofokeng was seen naked in Soweto near the dog’s kennel by a tenant living on the property in the early hours of 21 November 2020.
“Having been caught with his pants literally down, he was then apprehended by members of the community,” said the animal rights organisation.
Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader Julius Malema is catching smoke over his comments on Hillary Gardee’s death and killers.
Malema and other party members visited the Gardee family in Nelspruit on Wednesday after the body of the party’s former secretary-general Godrich Gardee’s daughter was found this week. Malema said the suspects “took the wrong one this time” referring to Hillary.

Health Minister Dr. Joe Phaahla announced limited Covid-19 regulations were announced minutes before the previous ones expired on Wednesday evening.
Phaahla said this was necessary to ensure that there is no gap in terms of legal instruments to contain the spread of Covid-19.
