This time the explosion happened in Braam Fischerville, Soweto.

City of Johannesburg EMS spokesperson Xolile Khumalo told the media the explosion resulted from dynamite connected to a vehicle battery.
SHOCKING footage of the gas explosion in the Johannesburg CBD that killed one person and injured at least 48 others has emerged.
Johannesburg EMS spokesperson Robert Mulaudzi told the media the body of a man was recovered near where the explosion occurred.
Earlier, Mulaudzi said that those injured in the incident were receiving medical attention.
Binnelanders actor Bradley Olivier died peacefully in hospital on Thursday. He is known for his role as Danny Jantjies in the soapie Binnelanders.
His family made the heartbreaking announcement on Thursday, a day after Bradley was placed on life support when he had reached a point where recovery was no longer possible.
Snow was confirmed NOW in several parts of South Africa, and more snow and icy weather conditions are expected this weekend.
The South African Weather Service (SAWS), issued a level 2 warning for DISRUPTIVE SNOW for several parts of South Africa for Thursday.
The level 2 warning is in place from 12:00 on Wednesday afternoon up until Thursday midnight.
South African Reserve Bank’s (SARB’s) Monetary Policy Committee voted to keep the interest rates at their current levels on Thursday.

This means the repurchase rate stays at 8.25% and the prime lending rate at 11.75% – and offers some temporary relief for South Africans, especially those in debt.
