A doctor visiting South Africa from Malta went missing while attending a medical seminar in Cape Town on Wednesday.
Stefano Corso, a 29-year-old doctor, went missing on Wednesday after failing to return to the conference room following a walk outdoors.
Bester: NPA ‘Strategic move’ drops charges on three accused
In a surprise move by the National Prosecuting Authority(NPA) in the Thabo Bester case, is its release of three of the 12 accused in aiding and abetting prison escapee Thabo Bester.
The NPA has dropped charges levelled against three former G4S employees Nastassja Jansen, Thabang Mier and Moeketsi Ramolula.
Controversial “NO WHITES ALLOWED” at University of Pretoria
The University of Pretoria has condemned racial stickers that were put up at the institutions entrances of the Hatfield Campus by AfriForum Youth.
The topical stickers read “Blacks only” and “No whites allowed.” Perversity of Pretoria, was according to AfriForum Youth in protest to the university managements silence on the recent Economic Freedom Fighters Student Command blocking whites students access to the campus.

Severe thunderstorms and HAIL expected in several parts of SA
WARNINGS have been issued for severe thunderstorms and HAIL in several parts of South Africa.
The SA Weather Services (SAWS) issued a level 4 warning for severe thunderstorms for the following parts:
- Ndwedwe
- Inkosi Langalibalele – Escourt / Escourt
- Umvoti / Greytown
- Msinga / Pomeroy
- uMlalazi / Eshowe
- Ethekwini / King Shaka Airport
- uMngeni / Howick
- Umzimkhulu
- Ubuhlebezwe / Ixopo
- Mpofana – Mooi River / Mooi River
The SAWS warned that flooding of roads, settlements and low-lying areas is possible, which may lead to the closure of some bridges and roads.
