Six-year-old girl goes missing in unfenced yard

The six-year-old girl from Tembisa went out to play with other kids in a yard that doesn’t have a fence this past Sunday

A six-year-old girl, Mqabuko Dube, has gone missing in an unfenced yard in Tembisa, east of Johannesburg.

SIX-YEAR-OLD GIRL NO WHERE TO BE FOUND

According to a statement by Tembisa Police Station, it is alleged that Mqabuko Dube – the six-year-old girl of 2136 Winnie Mandela Zone 10 – went out to play with other kids in the yard that doesn’t have a fence on Sunday, 22 January 2023 at about 2pm.

“At 3:30pm her Aunt went to check on her but she wasn’t there.”

WHERE THE MISSING GIRL WAS LAST SEEN

It is reported that she asked other kids who were playing with her but she couldn’t get a satisfactory answer.

“She was last seen wearing a red t-shirt and black jeans with no shoes. Anyone with information can contact: Tembisa Saps on 011 920 8000 or Captain Sekgobela on 082 447 4970,” pleaded Captain N Sekgobela.

In a related matter, SAPS Algoa Park detectives are seeking the community’s assistance in tracing a 49-year-old man who went missing on Wednesday 4 January 2023.

It is alleged that on the mentioned date, Mbuyiselo Dakuse left his house in Missionvale with a friend to Kenako Mall, however, he was not feeling well and informed his friend that he will go to Dora Nginza hospital. The hospital was visited and the family were unable to trace Mr Dakuse.

Police are appealing to anyone who can assist in tracing Mbuyiselo Dakuse to urgently contact SAPS Algoa Park D/WO Steven Bustin on 082 303 0572 or Crime Stop 08600 10111 or their nearest police station.

Also, Police in Bela-Bela are appealing to members of the community to assist with information that can help locate Molekwa Sekgori (73) who went missing from his home in Bela-Bela Extension 5 on Thursday, 19 January 2023 at about 19:45.

The elderly man was wearing a brown T-shirt, black trousers, brown cap, and grey sandals. He is tall and dark in complexion, with an amputated left-hand index finger.

Police appeal to anyone who can assist in locating this missing person to contact the investigating officer Sergeant Sekgobela on 082 962 1493 or Crime Stop on 08600 10111 or the nearest police station. They may also share the information via My SAPS App.
