As previously reported by The South African, on 13 September, defence counsel for accused 3, Advocate Charles Mnisi requested the master copy of photos downloaded from his client’s phone.

On Thursday, 14 September proceedings were delayed as all the counsels and the judge had a discussion in the chambers. Upon commencement, State Prosecutor Advocate George Baloyi confirmed that the defence has been furnished with the photos.

The defence then asked for a postponement in order to consult with their clients about the 784 photos downloaded from Mncube’s phone.
