Nearly two weeks until SASSA’s next payment cycle begins. Pensioners will receive their grant in just a little over a week.

The South African Social Security Agency(SASSA) will soon begin to its around 28 million registered beneficiaries.

Earlier this month, around 70 000 beneficiaries were left hanging after they did not receive their grant payments. However the Agency says it experienced another glitch as it says its system failed to verify recipients banking details.

Grant beneficiaries have several options to help them gain access to their funds, despite SASSA and the South African Post Office withdrawing their services as payout points.
Beneficiaries are still able to withdraw the grant money at any local ATM, supermarket such as Checkers, Shoprite, Boxer, Pick n Pay and USave merchants amongst others.
If you do not want to receive the grant payment on your SASSA gold card, recipients have the option of receiving their grant money straight into their personal bank account.
