Attended by professionals from across the business sphere, the evening brings together people committed to facilitating the development of business opportunities in both the UK and South Africa.

He will be joined by executives from the Chamber of Commerce, London African Gospel Choir, senior businessmen from the sponsoring panel, including from Nedbank, Standard Bank and Sable as well as those who have generously donated items to the goodie bags to be given to each guest.

The host, Edward Griffiths, is chief executive of Saracens rugby club and has contributed to the transformation of the innovative north London club into one of the most consistently successful rugby clubs in Europe.

This process has incorporated the assembly of a squad solely focussed on the development of people, the creation of a global rugby brand based on strong values and able to attract a world record crowd of 83,671 to Wembley Stadium and the development of a new home stadium, Allianz Park, in the heart of north London.

Griffiths previously worked as sports editor of the Sunday Times (SA), chief executive of the South African Rugby Union during the 1995 Rugby World Cup, consultant to four major bids and consultant to the Local Organising Committee of the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa. He has also written 22 published titles.

The entertainment for the evening will be provided by South African Cultural Talent UK, an organisation formed by the most talented African musicians based in the United Kingdom.
