‘SAPS’ uniforms featured in bizarre online pornography
Pornographic videos featuring SAPS uniforms have surfaced on file-sharing websites, showing participants engaging in sexual acts while dressed in what appears to be official police uniforms.

Pornographic videos featuring South African Police Services (SAPS) uniforms have surfaced on file-sharing websites, showing participants engaging in sexual acts while dressed in what appears to be official police uniforms.

Several of these videos have made their way around file-sharing and adult websites, with many of them tagged ‘SAPS’ or ‘South African police’.

The search term ‘South African police’ returning more than 3, 000 search results on one example adult website.

‘SAPS’ uniforms featured in bizarre online pornography
Uniforms that appear to belong to the South African Police Services (SAPS) have featured in a series of bizarre pornographic videos uploaded to the internet.

Videos are tagged with terms like ‘South African police’ and ‘SAPS’, with the footage depicting blatant sexual acts – with what appears to be official uniforms from the police.
Some of the videos have been viewed thousands of times.

There’s no word on whether the videos depict official members of the police service, or just uniforms.
Why wearing SAPS gear is illegal
The South African Police Services have warned against the illegal use of SAPS property and uniform, with a press release in 2023 that says offenders will be severely punished and/or fined for its contravention.
According to the SAPS Act, only authorised officers may wear their uniforms – and no, they aren’t allowed to wear their uniforms for the purposes of roleplay or recording pornography.
If you are caught wearing an official uniform without the proper clearance, you could be fined or charged.
