Weather: Rain and storms until 2024

Weather and storms have been predicted for the rest of the year, according to the SA Weather Service. Conditions that include rain, storms, and strong winds have been predicted for some provinces until 2024.

The Weather Service has warned against winds for the Western Cape, and the prediction of rain and storms for Gauteng, Kwazulu-Natal and North-West. Residents and visitors are cautioned to be careful – especially during the height of storms.

Moon phase: January 2024’s first moon

The website Moon Giant has said that 2024 starts with January’s first full moon, which appears on January 6 of the next year.

January’s moon is referred to as the Wolf Moon, coinciding with the time of year when wolves become more active – and their howl is heard cutting through the night air.
