Queen, who bagged a brace in the five-goal thriller, sustained a knee injury late on in the fierce battle against the Blue Diamonds. However, the fearless attacking midfielder, who also plays as a forward, has returned to full training which comes as a timely boost for Banyana Ba Style.

Rabale was on form sustaining a knee injury

“The injury was not as severe as initially anticipated. I sustained a mild strain on my patella, but I am recovering well now, all thanks to the dedicated medical team. I can move my leg without any difficulty and kick the ball around easily. The team has been supportive, and I have been working hard with the physio to get back to full fitness. As a result, I am excited to return to match action against Durban Ladies,” Queen stated.

The sharpshooter, who delivered a stunning hat-trick against Durban Ladies last season, is eyeing a repeat of her incredible performance.

“Of course, scoring goals is my job as a forward, but I am also interested in helping my team push for the ultimate goal, which is to stay on top of the Hollywoodbets Super League standings. I remember my performance last season, and I know Durban Ladies will be keen to avoid a repeat. Nevertheless, I am ready to face them again, and if scoring opportunities present themselves, I will take advantage of them,” Boitumelo concluded.

“Scoring goals is one of the key attributes of Sundowns Ladies, regardless of the position you play, because goals win you games. Ahead of Sunday’s game, we are determined to secure three points because that is what matters the most. Additionally, I would be happy to contribute more goals if opportunities arise during the game,” Khunjulwa stated.
