The evidence against R Kelly is stacking up, with the discovery of a VHS tape, allegedly showing the sexual abuse of a minor, being entered into the case.

A lawyer representing one of the women that R Kelly allegedly sexually abused, stated that the tape, which surfaced on 10 March 2019, illustrated the R&B Singer sexually abusing children.

R Kelly ‘sex tape’ discovered by couple

R Kelly is accused of abusing four women, which includes three teenagers between 1998 and 2010.

He is currently out on bail.

The video was announced by Gloria Allred who is a lawyer on the case.

At a press conference Allred stated that couple Gary and Sallie Dennis found the video in a box of old VHS cassettes in their home.

Allred did not state how the cassette landed in Gary and Sallie’s home.

Allred, however, did state that;

“Prior to learning that such a tape was in their possession, Sallie had viewed the Lifetime documentary called ‘Surviving R. Kelly,‘”

Sallie was apparently very disturbed at what the documentary portrayed and alleged and it was sometime after that that Sallie Dennis and her husband found the video tape.

Dennis revolted by recording

Gary Dennis had found the tape while searching through old tapes trying to decide which to keep and which to throw out.

Dennis relates that;

“He was telling them what to do and what to say, and it appeared that he was controlling the camera,”

Gary Dennis, who is a father of two daughters, initially wanted to throw the tape out as he was horrified.

After speaking to his wife, he decided against it.

R Kelly evidence piles up

Allred states that she did not see the previous tapes released to the media, she however does not believe that it was the same act.

The video, according to Allred, shows R Kelly sexually abusing children.

She, therefore, has urged anyone in the possession of similar video tapes regarding the R&B star to release the tape to her or to the police.

The VHS tape is the third to appear in the case against R Kelly.

A number of people who have come forward stated that R Kelly had had sexual relations with girls under 16 years old and had kept sex slaves, after the release of the documentary ‘Surviving R Kelly.’

The current criminal investigation comes with suspicions of these acts for the past two decades.

R Kelly was, first, formally charged in 2002, after he allegedly filmed himself having sex with a 14-year-old teenager. He was acquitted of child pornography charges in 2008.
