The largest collection of mermaid-related items numbers 726 pieces, was achieved by Laurie Koller (USA) in Franklin Square. New York, USA, as verified on 15 October 2015.
Koller began collecting mermaid-related items over 30 years ago as a child. In addition to her collection, she has four mermaid tattoos (which do not count towards the record).
