Elon Musk grows gap as most followed X account: Latest numbers
Elon Musk continues to widen his lead over former US president Barack Obama as the most followed account on X.

As reported by The South African website, Elon Musk last year surpassed former US president Barack Obama as the most followed account on X, formerly known as Twitter.

And the South Africa-born 52-year-old billionaire has continued to widen the gap over Obama – and the rest of the world – on the popular social media platform.
The founder of Tesla and SpaceX at the time of publishing on Thursday, 1 February 2024 had 170 832 737 X followers, nearly 39 million ahead of Obama, who had 131 897 674 to his name.
Pop superstar Justin Bieber is in third place with 111 326 955 followers.
