Darwin Nunez’s late brace saw 10-man Liverpool come from a goal down to beat Newcastle United 2-1 at St James’ Park on Sunday afternoon.

The Reds started poorly and were punished in the 25th minute when Anthon Gordon capitalised on Trent Alexander-Arnold’s mistake. The afternoon got worse and worse for the Reds as captain Virgil van Dijk was shown a straight red for a dangerous tackle on a Newcastle player.
