Oh dear, it looks like our new Public Protector’s finally found her voice, to the detriment of the Zuma camp and their plans of trashing her predecessor’s State Capture report.

Busisiwe Mkhwebane has said that she’d be opposing Zuma’s application to have Thuli Madonsela’s State of Capture report reveiwed, based on the ruling of the courts, but added that she would be seeking further legal advice on the matter.

You know what, Busisiwe; if you had spent more time working in the judiciary and less time mucking about on behalf of the SSA in China, you might have had the expertise to make the big decisions without waiting for your lackeys to advise you on them.

In her first 100 days in office, Busisiswe Mkhwebane’s done little more than change preferred TV stations and fire Madonsela’s old guard, but it does look like she’s getting her shit together and gearing up to do an at least half decent job.
